This autumn, we have decided to display a selection of original large-format works by Takagi at our gallery in 9, rue des Arquebusiers, Paris, from September 17 to October 9, 2013. In a sense, this departs from one of our basic rules, which is that we only photographic editions, or “multiples”.
Our decision was guided as much by our own excitement with Yasuyuki Takagi’s work as by our determination to meet a growing demand: many of you have enquired about acquiring one of his original works. As the artist is not represented by a particular gallery, we have on occasion worked with him to answer your requests on a case-by-case basis. This is why we are all the more proud today to display some of his original large-format works and share them with you.
